Access work underway on Bucklebury Common

The riding route between Upper Bucklebury and Chapel Row is being extended to create a safe route between the villages for cyclists and horseriders, away from the road.

We are using the natural surface where possible, but resurfacing with a small amount of similar material when necessary. The impact may look dramatic, but it will soon blend in.

The other routes shown in the vision will not be like this. They are walking routes which will just have extra waymarkers installed to aid orientation.

Extra measures are being installed to reduce illegal and antisocial off road driving. These are in keeping with the rural nature of Bucklebury Common.
