Conservation land management advice

Creating an ambitious heathland and wood-pasture restoration plan for Bucklebury Common
Working with the Bucklebury Estate and stakeholders, I have created a vision for the restoration of Bucklebury Common.
Based on historic maps, ecological surveys and the aspirations of the landowners and stakeholders, the vision includes the creation of 30ha of heathland and over 200ha of wood pasture.

A delivery plan to realise this vision was produced and the project is underway.

Providing tailored advice to landowners to assist with all aspects of land management for a rugby club in Buckinghamshire.
I was employed by Marlow Rugby Club to provide advice on the enhancement of an area of rough grassland and a scrubby pond.
I met with the client to ascertain their aspirations and drafted ideas for improving the area for wildlife and for club members.
Using these plans, the club has applied for funding and started to implement my recommendations.
